AutoCAD Custom user Interface (CUI) Editor component custom workspace file with such window and palette properties as toolbar and menu configurations. The file may also contain custom images and is used to load full or partial custom workspace layouts during a drawing process. AutoCAD 2010 and newer versions use CUIX files instead of CUI. CUIX files are saved as a package of multiple XML and image files and replace all older workspace customization files, such as MNU and MNS files.
