Chess text-based file with recoreded moves made in a match, the event name, location, date, round, player names and the result of the game inside. In this file the header data is formatted with tags. After the header all player moves are described with "movetext" (syntax that is based on Standard Algebraic Notation - SAN). PGN files are used by several chess applications and PGN viewers.
