Second Life (network-based virtual reality world) Linden Lab Mesh (LLM) file with a three-dimensional mesh definition saved as a collection of polygons that form the surface of an avatar. This file is used for rendering a three-dimensional avatar and creating texture wrappings. LLM files are generated in one of two mesh definition formats, base format or level of detail (LOD) format. Base meshes include the original mesh definition and LOD meshes include alternate meshes in a decreasing resolution that are used when the avatar is far from the camera. LLM files are also known as Linden Binary Mesh files.
