Geology Multi File (GMF) format geological surface data set file which is used by several GIS applications. This file can store X, Y, Z coordinates for a ground surface and coordinates for one or multiple subsurface layers as well as comments, the unit type (feet or meters) and labels for every surface information set. These Multi-Files are used to store captured geologic surface information and plot three-dimensional surface visualizations. GMF files use an ASCII text formatting.
