Windows Virtual PC (emualtion application that is used for executing Windows virtual machines - VMs) data file with the changes made to the virtual machine's virtual disk (VHD file) since the disk file was last loaded. This file is used to track the files that were produced, removed and edited. VUD files allow users to "discard undo disks" that removes the changes made to the VHD file and recovers the last loaded VHD file. Users may also "commit undo disks" that permanently applies the changes made to the virtual hard drive.
