ID Tech 3 (also known as the Quake III game engine) sound definition file that is used to specify such settings for one or several sounds as a sound ID and a reference to a WAV file. This file is saved using a plain text formatting. Sound definition files may be referenced by other game script files for customizing events during gameplay.
