IDRISI Taiga (software that is used to image spatial data) GIS metadata file with descriptive information about the raster image saved in a RST file. The file also may include a reference to the REF geographical reference file for the image and an SMP palette file. Previously IDRIS raster documentation files were saved with the ".doc" extension. Clark Labs changed the extension to ".rdc" to prevent confusing with other file types.
