Navisworks (software that is used to review and simulate architectural designs) CAD file with CAD models, camera viewpoints, animations and user comments. This file is used to display clashes between CAD designs and for presentations. In contrast to NWF files that are used to save only references to the source data files, NWD files contain all source data files so the file may be used standalone. This way NWD files are used as a snapshot of the current project's file set. Navisworks Freedom and Navisworks Manage applications are used for viewing and publishing NWD files. These programs are provided with the Navisworks bundle.
