Digital cameras (for example Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D series) stereoscopic image file with two JPG images side-by-side that were taken by the two lenses on the digital camera and enables the two two-dimensional images to be displayed as if they were a single three-dimensional picture. The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) developed the MPO format. Its specification enables any number of JPG files to be saved in an MPO file, but usually used for stereoscopic images. JPS (Stereo JPEG Image) format is also used for stereoscopic pictures.
