InstallShield (software that is used to create Windows application installers) file with a saved dialog box that may be imported or exported into an installer. The file is used to insert dialog box templates and custom dialog boxes into an installer sequence. This dialog may be "interior" or "exterior". Interior dialog boxes exist between the beginning and end of the installation process and have an image header. Exterior dialog boxes exist at the endpoints of the installation process and include a larger image. A repository of dialog templates may be created from ISD files.
