ICA file extension

This is a graphic file with bitmap image saved using the device and platform-independent IOCA format. It stores "image segments" with the picture information and settings which describe the picture's characteristics. ICA files are compatible with compression and monochrome, grayscale and color graphics. They are usually used to scan, print or archive graphics.

Citrix program servers ICA (Independent Computing Architecture) file with settings data for connecting to various servers. It can link to a published program or to a server desktop environment. These files enable users to connect to remote virtual desktops so the programs are not installed locally on user's computer.
