HyperTerminal (software that is used to emulate terminal) properties file with connection properties that allow to connect to a remote location. The file is used to save and reuse dial-up and TCP/IP connection information. Hilgraeve developed Hyperterminal application that was included with Microsoft operating systems up to Windows XP. Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems do not contain HyperTerminal, but this program is still available as the HyperTerminal Private Edition on the Hilgraeve website.
