Geosoft software applications (for example Oasis montaj 5 and earlier) project file with geospatial data added to the project. The file is used to organize such geospatial data as maps, images and GIS databases. GPF file extension is used instead of GWS by Oasis montaj 6 and newer versions. GWS files still may be imported into the latest version of the program.

GeoMedia configuration file with user preferences, legends, warehouse connections and other settings. The file has a standard coordinate system assigned to it that may be changed in the GeoWorkspace Coordinate System dialog box. Choose "View" → "GeoWorkspace Coordinate System" within the application and select another workspace to change the GeoWorkspace Coordinate System.
