Symbian OS devices font file with font characters saved in a bitmap format. The file can be copied from a PC to the phone using Bluetooth or USB connection. For correct work GDR files must be located in the "/System/Fonts/" folder on the Symbian device. Restart the phone after installing a new font to apply all changes. Fileman, FontRemover and other Symbian OS applications may be used to install or remove GDR files on the device.
