3ds Max (3D modeling and animation software) three-dimensional model file with the figure structure for a biped that is a two-footed figure. This file contains all link positions, twist links and the scales for the current pose. The file enables modelers to store a biped's structure and rig similar figures with the same poses. CAL files are used to add pose adjustment data for FIG files. Actual skeletal mesh or animation data is not included in FIG files.
