DPX file extension

VASCO programs file which is used for securely authenticating applications and users over a network. This file stores a list of tokens and such password settings as response length, challenge length and unlock data. DPX files are installed on a server with Vasco software. After installation users should use a security token along with their login information for authenticating access to their remote programs. This technology is usually used inside business programs for securely authenticating users and mobile devices from remote locations. It is usually used in online banking, e-commerce and online government programs.

This is a Kodak raster graphic format which is used to transfer film pictures to a digital medium without losing quality. This format is also called "Digital Moving Picture Exchange Bitmap". Original Kodak DPX format was later enhanced and published by Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), who now maintain this format. CIN (original Kodak format) files are similar to DPX files, but DPX format allows to store extra data in the file header.

DrawPlus (image editing software) vector graphic template file with the same data as a DPP drawing file, but is used as a base for generating several drawings from the same template.
