DDT file extension

Jill of the Jungle (video game where players control Jill through a series of jungle-based levels) music file with game audio information saved using the Creative Music Format (CMF) that is a reduced variation of the MIDI format. DDT files are used to playback sounds within the game.

Diagram Designer (freeware diagram editor that is used for generating flowcharts and UML diagrams) template file with diagram elements, connecting lines and text. DDT files are used for saving technical documentation for object-oriented application code, business processes and other conceptual drawings.

Football Manager (video game where players should manage finances, rosters and other aspects of football teams) data file with plain text instructions that describe imports for football players and teams. DDT files are used for extending the default game database to retain and load custom players into team rosters.

Age of Mythology (AOM - a real-time strategy (RTS) video game) graphics file that is usually included inside a BAR file and stores textures that are added to three-dimensional game models. This file is used to texturize game objects like heroes, icons, terrain elements and army units. DDT files may be extracted from a BAR file and converted to a BMP format with AOM Edit that is also known as AOMed. After extracting they can be edited with any graphic editor and then converted back into the DDT format with AOM Edit program. DDT files are compatible with multiple resolutions, but the dimensions of the image must be a power of two.
