The MITRE Corporation file format created for Combat Net Radio (CNR) information parser programs. This file includes formatted initialization information fields for systems using MIL-STD-188-220 CNR modems. The file uses an ASCII text format to save information as a series of lines, each with four hexadecimal characters. CN1 files were designed for use in automating the networking initialization process for tactical military programs. These files include such information elements for tactical networking modems as the program header, the bearer waveform and other program-specific options.
