ADT file extension

Audio Data Transport Stream (ADTS) format audio file with a series of audio frames, each with a portion of the overall audio information that should be transferred. This file is usually used to stream AAC audio and may be seen with the ADTS extension.

AutoCAD (popular 2D and 3D CAD software) log file that saves the activity that take place during a drawing audit. Audit log files are generated in the same folder as the current drawing with the filename "drawing.adt".

ACT! contact management program template file that is used to generate a new word processing document. This template is used to produce several documents with the same layout. Third-party word processor, like Microsoft Word, that works in conjunction with ACT! can generate ADT template files. They are located in the "C:/Program Files/ACT/Templates/" folder by default.

World of Warcraft (WoW - MMORPG, massively-multiplayer online role-playing game) map file with a map tile for a game continent or dungeon. This file is used to load map terrain and elements during gameplay. ADT files are contained inside MPQ packages that are used for game installation information and updates. WoW updates can store ADT files used for changing current map contents.
