ADI file extension

Active@ Disk Image (backup and restore software) disk image file with a backup of a hard drive, media disk or other external storage device. This file may be part of a split package or a full backup package. ADI files may be used to store full system backups or partial file system backups. These files include only the occupied sectors of a disk and use compression that reduces the size of the backup file.

AOMEI Backupper (Windows software that is used to backup and restore files) disk image file with a backup of a hard disk which may be used for recovering hard disks in case of data loss or corruption. These files may be compressed and divided into several files for reducing the size of the backup. You can also choose to backup only used sectors of the hard disk to make files smaller. Active@ Disk Image program also saves disk backups in ADI files.
