Sony ACID Pro, Music Studio or Xtreme program backup file with a backup copy of the currently open ACD project. This file stores the real-time copy of the project when editing a music compilation. The program generates ACD-BAK files automatically in the same folder as the ACD project file. ACD-BAK files may be used to recover the most recent edits if the application unexpectly crashes.
