AutoIt v3 (freeware application that is used for scripting) compiled script file with an encrypted and compressed AU3 script saved using a tokenized form that contains files which were added using the "FileInstall" option and all referred #include files. Original AU3 script files are used to automate commands in Windows environment and for other various scripting purposes. A3X format allows AU3 scripts to be compiled into standalone executables. This way they can be distributed as small files without including the AutoIt3.exe file in every compiled script. Different AutoIt interpreters can be used to run A3X files, or they may be also included in another script. A BASIC-similar programming language is used by AutoIt. This language is able to simulate keystrokes, mouse movement and manipulate windows. This way various tasks, which are not possible with VBScript or SendKeys, can be automated.
